Romania Day 2- The museum of the Village

...or as it is called in Romanian Muzeul National al Satului.
It was a beautiful open air museum where they exhibit various types of buildings brought here from all around Romania at various time periods.
We were lucky the rain had stopped by then.

Also another good thing was that they had a temporary exhibition of handicrafts because of the Easter holidays and we could buy very beautiful traditional handmade things at very good prices.
I loved this beautiful blue thatched cottage.
 Handmade dolls.
Beautiful young people were dressed in traditional costumes.
 Folk painting.
 Masks
 Blooming trees
 A windmill
Another lovely little house with wonderfully decorated windows.
 And so traditional interior decoration.
And a painted door from 1889.
 Another beautiful house.

 And a well.
Those three girls dressed in traditional costumes just happened to stand in front of me looking at some handicrafts!Aren't they so beautiful?
A close up of their vest.
I loved those beaded belts. Unfortunately they were quite expensive so I didn't buy one.
But I bought a couple of those painted eggs for my Easter egg collection.
