Game Over

As hubby and I decided not to take part in the next children's play of our Drama team, the Teachers' Association Drama Club moved forward and mounted a new children's play.
It's called "Game Over" and was written by the two ladies who have written the two previous children's plays we had acted in, "Koutornithia" and "The big Boom" and also the adult play "Griothesia", Ioanna Katsarou and Afrodite Ioannou. The former also directed the play.
This Saturday after a year of rehearsals (which I admit I am not sorry I missed) Game Over premiered at a local theatre and we went to watch it.
It was very good!
It's the story of many heroes of various computer games that get mixed up and get chased by the viruses of a computer.
Of course as all children's plays there is a happy ending and a moral that if we cooperate we can win the enemy, whoever that might be!

And of course there were beautiful colourful costumes, and singing and dancing!
We are still members of the team and the adult play will continue to be presented from time to time.

Hi Ariadne, the play sounds wonderful although I can see why you bowed out of performing this time - a year of rehearsal sounds a bit excessive to me!
